Please read these terms and conditions carefully before purchasing. By creating an account and placing an order, you agree you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

CURRENCY
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.

MINIMUM QUANTITY
Our minimum quantity for most items is 20. Volume discounts apply for larger quantities (starting at 30) and they are applied automatically once you add items to your shopping cart.

CARD STOCKS / PRINTING
• Standard Matte 270gsm – soft white or ivory with a subtle “eggshell” matte finish
• Smooth 350gsm – very smooth, thick card, in bright white or pale cream
• Premium Matte 352gsm – exactly like the standard matte, but extra thick and sturdy
• Textured 300gsm – a premium subtle grain textured card in either soft white or ivory

*All invitations come with matching envelopes in the same colour and finish*
*All stationery in our online range is DIGITALLY PRINTED*

SAMPLES
We have been making quality wedding stationery since 2007, so we are confident you will love our products anyway, but you may want to see an actual physical sample or compare stock types and thicknesses before you place a full order. We encourage you to purchase samples if you have time!

If you know exactly which design you would like, you can order a printed sample for $5 and specify the card colour/size/texture you prefer. This will be a generic sample, so that you can see the quality of the card and the printing, it will not be printed with your own details. You can order as many of these as you like.

If you’d prefer a sample pack with a few different designs and a swatch of card types, as well as our print colour swatch, these are $10 and again the sample prints will be generic.

PAYMENT
Once you’ve made your decision, place your order! Full payment is required before your artwork is created and emailed through to you for approval. Payment can be made securely on the website by
• Credit Card (via Stripe)
• Direct Deposit
• PayPal

SUPPLYING YOUR DETAILS
When we receive your order, we will email you a Word template so that you can add your details. Simply overwrite it and send it back! You can change the wording if you wish; however, the amount of text must fit the constraints of the design you choose. Many designs will not accommodate a lot of extra information. We will be in touch when we receive your wording if we have any concerns, otherwise we will get to work on your proof.

ALTERNATIVE WORDING
If you prefer slightly different wording at the beginning (so that the invitation is being issued by your parents, for example) suggestions are available on the DOWNLOADS page. We will also email them on request. Don’t forget that in these cases your names will be in a different position, further down, which is fine in most cases, but does throw off the balance of some designs.

ALTERNATIVE FONTS
If you would like to replace a font with any of the others in our design range, it’s possible, but please be aware that not all fonts will suit all designs. Each of our designs has been carefully put together with font combinations that work, but if you want to try something else of course you can. The font styles are available on the DOWNLOADS page. Please note that your choices are limited for the online range. This allows us to maintain our objectives of beautiful invitations which are quick to produce.

ALTERNATIVE CARDSTOCKS / ENVELOPES
Our online range is only available in the cardstocks specified. These all come with matching envelopes (so if you have ordered a textured ivory invitation, you’ll get a textured ivory envelope, not a plain white one). If you want something else, please email us – it can often be arranged but this will incur extra fees which you will be required to pay in advance, and can potentially add an extra week to the production schedule.

PROOFING
You will receive an emailed proof of your design usually within 1 business day of placing your order. You will need to check this proof carefully and let us know of any changes you’d like to make. You are entitled to 2 rounds of changes after the initial proof. If your proof requires more changes than this, you will be charged an extra $10 per additional proof, even if the changes are minimal. This fee is to be paid before we complete your artwork. You will then be asked to send an approval email which effectively allows us to send your artwork to print. Thoroughly check your proof when you receive it.

PERSONALISING/ENVELOPE ADDRESSING
If you require personalising of invitations with your guests’ names and/or envelope printing with their names/addresse, you will be asked to supply your guest list after you have approved your artwork proof(s). A guest list template will be emailed to you if you have selected these options. Just populate it with the relevant details and send it back to us a day or two before we commence production. Please take your time and make sure the list is complete and accurate when you send it back to us.

STOCK AVAILABILITY
Orders are subject to stock availability. In the event of supply difficulties Fine Invitations will inform you and discuss alternative materials or designs.

TIMING AND DELIVERY
Once you are happy with the emailed proof(s) you will be asked to “sign off” (check a summary of your order and email your approval to go to print). From this point, allow at least 2 – 3 business days for printing and another 1-2 days for delivery (depending on distance from Sydney and the regular postal schedule in your area). If you require a shorter delivery time let us know and we will do our best to meet your deadline, but we do charge a rush fee to prioritise your order if we are required to work excessive overtime in order to achieve it. This will be discussed with you first.

DELIVERY CHARGES WITHIN AUSTRALIA
The cost for postage within Australia is a flat fee of $18.00 (inc. GST) for all orders. All orders are sent via Express Post and you will be sent a tracking code after the order has been despatched. Please note that once we have sent your order and provided you with the tracking code, we have fulfilled our delivery requirements. If the package is not delivered on time, you must take it up with Australia Post using the tracking details provided.

LOSS OR DAMAGE
At Fine Invitations, we package all goods carefully if they are being posted and we use Express Post as it is the most reliable delivery method. Loss or damage in transit is extremely rare, but if it does happen, Fine Invitations cannot be held responsible. Your order is in perfect condition and double bubble-wrapped when it leaves our store. Once it has been despatched, Australia Post assumes responsibility for its safe delivery. Your tracking code can be used to follow up with Australia Post if necessary.

ERRORS
At Fine Invitations we take pride in our attention to detail and will usually contact you if we believe we have found a typo, spelling mistake or grammatical error. We would rather have you check and confirm these before we go to print. However, as much as we want all our work to be free of mistakes, we cannot be held responsible for any errors after the proofs have been approved. You are ultimately responsible for the final check before we proceed to production. You will be asked to check a detailed summary of your order (including the final artwork, which we will print from) and reply via email to give your consent for us to proceed to print.

Please notify Fine Invitations immediately if you notice any errors on your stationery once you have received it. It’s extremely rare for this to happen, but if we have printed anything that differs from your approved artwork or our “sign-off” summary, we will correct, reprint and deliver it to you as soon as possible at no charge.

However, if the error is yours, although of course the order can be reprinted, this will be at your own expense.

CANCELLATIONS / REFUNDS
As Fine Invitations is a service-based business, all of our products are made to order. You can contact us to ask any questions before you order, but once we have received your order and payment the work gets started, therefore we do not offer refunds unless the order has not started.

In the case of a refund for work not yet started, we will deduct any Stripe or Paypal fees applied as we do not receive these back for refunds.

A5 invitation (148 x 210mm)/C5 envelope (162x229mm) = $2.00 domestic postage
150x150mm invitation/160mm square envelope = $2.00 domestic postage
124x174mm invitation/130x180mm envelope = $1.00 domestic postage
A6 Thank You card (105 x 148mm)/C6 envelope (114x162mm) = $1.00 domestic postage

PRICES
All prices are subject to change without notice. If a quote has been supplied by Fine Invitations, please take note of the quote expiry date; this date will be strictly enforced.

SPECIALIST PROCESSES (WHITE INK PRINTING, FOILING, LETTERPRESS ETC)
Many of our designs can be produced with foil or white ink or as letterpress (deep embossing). These are high-end specialist processes and as such they are not in the same price range as digital printing. The price for these depends on quantity – the usual minimum is 50 for these, due to high set-up costs – and a number of other factors, so you will need to contact us for a quote, but if you have the budget, we can oblige. However, we do not print on acrylic or wood.

BESPOKE DESIGN
A bespoke (or custom) design is something created by Fine Invitations specifically for you, not one of our standard designs, although it may have elements of certain styles in it. To have us create something just for you, there is a custom design fee which is additional to the standard price for stock and printing. The design fee needs to reflect the complexity of the design as per your specifications and the time estimated to complete it; therefore any bespoke design must be quoted on an individual basis. We encourage you to send us a very clear brief, with as much detail as possible.

To receive a quote for a custom design, please email us with the idea you have in mind and we will let you know if we can accommodate your request and what the design fee would be. Any custom design project follows the same terms and conditions outlined in this document.

**PLEASE NOTE** We do not create custom designs for you to print elsewhere – if we design something for you, we will produce it too.

COPYRIGHT
ANY DESIGN FINE INVITATIONS CREATES FOR YOU REMAINS THE SOLE PROPERTY OF FINE INVITATIONS.
Fine Invitations reserves the right to use any of its stationery as samples or for marketing purposes and can photograph all stationery for advertising in print, online wedding directories, across social media and throughout website galleries. If you do not want your stationery to be used in this way, you must send us a written request for exemption.

All designs on this site are the sole property of Fine Invitations and are covered by copyright. They may not be reproduced in any way without the permission of Fine Invitations. Any breach of copyright will be pursued.

COPYRIGHT PERMISSION
It is the client’s responsibility to obtain copyright permission for the use of hymns or other material used in the Order of Service books, venue logos etc.
